Tree Identification (Fungi)

Ready.

(1) Anonymous sequences

Examples:

Five Aspergillus reference-derived sequences for the selected region. These are demonstration sequences, not environmental reads or independent validation.

(2) Databases

Anonymous DB (input sequences)

Pre-installed reference database

On both Fungi pages, select ITS1, ITS2 or LSU rRNA. LSU uses SILVA 138.2 Parc or Ref NR99, with LSU / Parc as the default. Both SILVA databases retain all biological domains. A published 27-OTU decaying-wood eDNA example is included (Shirouzu et al. 2020, Figs. 2 and 3 ; Matsuoka 2022, p. 221, Fig. 3; sources and license). Compare the Parc and Ref NR99 trees and sequence matches.

References: UNITE (Abarenkov et al., 2025); SILVA (Quast et al., 2013). Both databases: CC BY 4.0; SILVA modifications.

The selected ITS region is searched within the UNITE dynamic reference/representative set.
